It has been claimed that new Zaoga leader, Dr Joe Guti, has taken a dig at gospel musician Mechanic Manyeruke family accusing them of dissonance.

We fact checked that and found that the claim is true.

This is what he said, while urging members to be true disciples of the church:

“Hatidi set up inenge yekwa Manyeruke, Baba vanoimba Dhimoni, ndi Manyeruke ka, kune murume wainetseka ne madhimoni, ndi baba Manyeruke, mwana wacho Guspy Warrior aakuimbao zvimwe, zvinoitao here izvozvo…

“Baba vari kuimba zvemadhimoni mwana ari kuimba zvimwe. Hold on to the vision. I wanna be a true disciple.”

(We do not want to have a set up like the one with the Manyerukes. The father sings about demons, the son, Guspy Warrior sings the opposite. Is that proper?)
