Tugwi Mukosi dam
“HERE in Masvingo, we have the Tugwi Mukosi Dam which will help our agriculture and tourism sector. We want villagers displaced by the dam construction to benefit from the water, so we will create irrigation schemes where they will grow sugarcane.”

At a campaign rally held on June 15, 2018, general elections, President Emmerson Mnangagwa told thousands of supporters that the (CSC), which was the largest employer in Masvingo with 6 000 workers at its peak, would resume operations on July 31, a day after polling.
